It’s best to leave anything at home that you don’t need, although small lockers will be available at the testing center to hold items that you cannot take into the testing room, such as cell phones, hats, and printed materials. If you want to bring a bottle of water and a small snack, they can be stored in the locker along with your wallet and cell phone. If you leave the test to take a restroom break, your testing time will continue to count down.
Do you get a formula sheet on an MTLE exam?
Many of the science and math MTLE exams will provide a formula sheet. It is on the computer screen, not on paper. To check whether your exam will have a formula sheet, visit the MTLE testing website and click on your test. What happens if you fail an MTLE exam?
If you have properly prepared for your MTLE exam, passing should not be a problem. But in the event that you fail an MTLE exam, there are no consequences other than the fact that you will have to wait 30 to 45 days to retake it. The MTLE exams are divided into subtests, which is very helpful because if you fail only one subtest, you only need to retake that subtest, not the entire test.
Can you retake an MTLE exam?
To retake a failed subtest, simply complete the registration process again and pay the MTLE exam fee. Hopefully, this isn’t the case, but if you have failed a test or subtest three times, you can apply for a fee waiver and possibly take the test for free.
How long do you have to wait before you can retake an MTLE exam?
Of course, it’s best to pass the exam on your first try, but if you don’t, you have at least 30 to 45 days to study some more (perhaps with a new studying approach) and try again! Make sure you use this time to brush up on your weaknesses, as identified in your score report. This waiting time ensures that you will have a new test with different questions.
